First, my apologizes. I suck at blogging. I seem not be able to find the time to sit down and type up what Gravity and Grace Yoga has been up to. Lots. That is what has been up - lots.
*Preschool Yoga is just starting up. We read a wonderful picture book, warm-up and then retell the story in yoga poses. Then we share a yummy snack. Love, love, love this group. Chloe helps out with this class - so much fun. See the pictures. I smile so much when I look at them that my cheeks hurt.
*Kids Yoga is equally wonderful. Six to eight kids attend the group and we practice stillness, tap into our inner strong voice, and practice yoga asanas. Check out the robot pictures created after a guided meditation. We discussed what we all have to do like robots. Great and amazing group.
*Adult Yoga id over the moon. Sometimes we sweat and sometimes we spend the whole class relaxing. I am in awe of everyone that comes out to practice we me. Everyone is a rockstar. There are no words to express how much love I have for this class and everyone that attends.

Getting Ready for 2011
Dear Friends,
Thank you, 2010, for helping me find more courage, for the humility, more love than I thought I deserved, and all the yoga adventures a girl could handle. Now on to you, 2011. 2011 I know you have so much in store for all of us. How do I know? I can feel it in every fiber of my being. What 2010 began to teach me is that I had spent more time in the past and future and was missing on the present. So moving into 2011 what I know for certain is that I can not change anything that I do not have control of and that I have the capacity to love more than I even knew to be possible. I plan to welcome whatever comes into my life and learn from those moments. What that will take is for me to be present in the moment and let go of all the past and future stuff I have no control of. Oh, the adventures I think I will have with this mindset.
As Gravity & Grace Yoga takes off, I invite you to sign up for the blog to get monthly updates, poses, and readings. It is quite easy. Just find the sign up box on the right side of the blog to get started.
After reading Poser: My Life in Twenty Three Yoga Poses by Claire Dederer , I am inspired to observe, reflect and record how asana poses challenge, reaffirm, and teaches me more about my inner self. So, my monthly blogs will consist of a pose for the month and a blurb about what comes up for me as I practice this pose. I am sure it will be funny and hopefully a little insightful.
Next post by the end of the week. Much love to you all!
