Dear Friends,
It has been awhile since I posted anything. Sorry for the delay. Finishing my yoga teacher training (insert cartwheel here) and progressing from Thanksgiving to the Christmas holiday has consumed so much more time than anticipated. This time of year seems to bring the intense need to wrap up all things up and begin the process of a new year and all the changes that it may bring.
In the frenzy to get it all done and the anxiety that change may bring, it is often short of miracle that we are able to enjoy the best parts of the holiday season, family and friends. Our yoga practice allows us to focus on the present moment. After a short time, the fruits of your practice will seep into our everyday life. We breath more, we let go of what we can not do, we try to remain in the present moment (making those moments for more richer for ourselves and others), and finally we begin to feel connected to our mind and body in a new way.
I wish everyone a wonderful holiday season, filled with love and joy. And if you plan to continue or begin a yoga practice, Gravity and Grace Yoga's monthly schedule will be posted here shortly.
Much love,
Sharon
